The Ranch

50+ acres of Wisconsin's Driftless Region. Built new in 2020. Ready for your horses.

Southwest Wisconsin's
Finest Equestrian Stop

Creekside Ranch sits in the Driftless Region of southwest Wisconsin — a landscape shaped by glaciers that never reached it, leaving behind rolling hills, clear creeks, dense hardwood forests, and some of the most beautiful countryside in the Midwest. It's the kind of place your horses settle into immediately.

The property spans over 50 acres with a nearly mile-long private road, a creek running through the lower pasture, wooded trails, a pond, and open grazing land. Deer, turkey, and the occasional bobcat are neighbors. Nearby Amish communities keep the surrounding country roads quiet and unhurried.

Creekside Ranch from the valley

Built in 2020.
Nothing Improvised.

The horse barn is finished in pine, hickory, and oak — warm, functional, and designed to be cleaned easily and maintained well. A lounge and full kitchen adjoin the barn with views of the valley and surrounding hills. The front patio includes a built-in gas firepit.

The 230×80 ft arena is the centerpiece — fitted with 12 glass garage doors that open to the outside for an open-air feel, plus a lounge and kitchen inside. It's used daily for exercise and riding. Boarders and overnight guests have access on a scheduled basis.

Frequently Asked
Questions

Everything you need to know before you arrive. Don't see your question? Call us — we pick up.

Overnight Stabling

Do I need to call ahead or can I just show up?
All reservations must be booked in advance — no walk-ins. This ensures your stall is prepped, bedded, and ready when you arrive. Call Jeff at 608-306-2246 to confirm your spot. We have limited capacity (8 stalls, 4 RV pads) and fill up during competition season, so book ahead.
What documents do I need for my horses?
A current negative Coggins test and a valid Health Certificate are required for all horses. No exceptions. Please have them ready on arrival. This protects our resident horses and every overnight guest on the property.
Can I arrive late at night?
Late arrivals are accommodated for guests with confirmed reservations. Give Jeff a heads-up call when you're an hour out and we'll make sure everything is ready and you have clear directions to the stall barn and RV pads.
Are overnight horses kept separate from resident horses?
Yes, always. Overnight guests are stabled completely separately from our boarding horses. This is non-negotiable and is standard biosecurity practice for any responsible facility.
Can my horses get turnout or use the arena?
Yes. Paddock turnout is included with overnight stabling. Arena access is available for an additional $25 per session, subject to availability. We want your horses to stretch and decompress — just let us know when you book.
Do you accommodate multiple horses?
Yes. Pricing is per horse per night. Call ahead to confirm stall availability during peak travel seasons (spring through fall competition season fills fast).

Sites & Hookups

Can my 40-foot living quarters trailer fit on the property?
Yes. The property has been accessed regularly by a 45-ft Dutch Star with trailer. The road from the interstate is paved, and there is space to maneuver large rigs. If you have an unusually large combination, call us first and we'll talk through your setup before you pull in.
What amp service do you offer?
We offer both 30 amp and 50 amp electric hookups. Specify your needs when you reserve and we'll assign the right site.
Is sewer hookup available?
Two of our four RV pads have direct sewer hookup at the site. The other two pads have access to our on-property sewer dump station. Specify your preference when you reserve and we'll do our best to assign accordingly.

Boarding Questions

Do you have boarding availability?
Call or message us to check current availability. We maintain limited boarding to keep our individual attention high. We'd rather have fewer horses boarded and cared for exceptionally than overbook the facility.
